Transfers
How the money moves
- You buy a Postcard for $1, plus any sales tax or VAT where you live. Tax goes to the tax authorities and is never part of the 20%.
- 20¢ is set aside for the charity you picked. Card-processing fees come out of our 80¢ share, never the charity's 20¢.
- We wait 30 days so refunds and chargebacks can settle. Refunded postcards aren't counted.
- Each month we send every charity the shares of postcards past that window, and publish the transfer here with its receipt.
- Your postcard updates from “goes to” to “went to”, and its verify page links to the transfer.
